Alix Gentil
Alix is an actress, filmmaker, improvisation performer and coach.
She studied theater at L’école de théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, acting at Susan Batson Studio in NYC, and on-screen acting at Club de Actores where she coached actors for 4 years. In 2015, Alix opens her own school Impro en Français à Barcelone, regularly participates in international movie festivals with her feature-film “New skin”, and in improvisation festivals with her professional company, The Modestos.
Alix specialized herself in Gestalt coaching, and loves accompanying people and groups in expressing their full potential, in a respectful, creative and challenging manner. Improvised theater and camera-work are her preferred tools to do so, in English, Spanish and French.
Right after bringing in new people into our studio and establishing new teams, I was looking for team-building activities to get the teams together. The Improvisation Theatre Workshops we ran with Modjo were not only fun and memorable, they have also managed to connect people with themselves and with the rest of the team in a playful manner. Each team left the workshop stronger, more united and more prepared to tackle our new and challenging projects.
Thank you so much for accompanying on our path to knowing each other better and building together a new team.
It was a real pleasure, very fun and enlightening at the same time.
We loved Modjo's approach to help our social entrepreneurs to prepare their project presentation. The workshop was very practical and useful, the participants left more confident in their communication skills and enjoying public-speaking. Alix created a fun and kind atmosphere which allowed the group to let go and to create stronger relationships between participants. We especially loved the approach of promoting your authentic self and giving yourself permission to fail in order to learn. We will work with Modjo again, for sure!
We had a great time and learnt a lot!
